Why do we have to wear ID's?

Starting January 11th, all FBISD students are required to wear a student ID. Some students are annoyed about this, but this is for their own good.

In the end, student IDs are mandatory in order to insure the safety of the student body and school staff on campus. IDs are not put in place to be a burden in your daily lives, but to make sure whoever is here, is supposed to be here.

“When ID badges are required, staff can identify students with a single glance”, said Principal Cortez.
